“I’m so excited!” exclaims Nomin Gantumur, designer behind the label Handcuffs Required. She has just been voted Best Designer at the Edmonton Spring Classic and pocketed a $500 cash prize. Her eyes are sparkling in excitement, “This really means a lot to me.” Edmonton’s designers are receiving more recognition these days thanks to events like the Edmonton Spring Classic, held March 4 at The Treasury.
