M.A.D.E’s 10th Annual Street Furniture Competition drew 16 teams to battle it out in the rain at the Works Festival in Edmonton. Using donated materials from local businesses such as Alberta Woodworks and the University of Alberta’s climbing department the designs varied in utility, intention, and playfulness. Colin Clark, Jenna Hill, and Michael Rivest’s ’love bench’ creates a charming setting for two, or a comfortable spot for one to gaze upwards. Read more…
