Véronique Meignaud

January 17th, 2012

Montrealer, Véronique Meignaud is a girl after my own heart! Originally from France, she spent two years at the fine art school Emile Cohl, in Lyon, France. She immediately began working as an illustrator for game studios, such as Electronic Arts, Etranges Libellules, Darkworks among others. Her experience with this style of illustration brought her to her next endeavour, Magic: The Gathering playing cards for Wizards of the Coast. *this makes the little nerd inside me swoon.

And if that weren’t enough, she spends her free time among endlessly experimenting and trying new ideas and canvases, she’s always part of an exhibition somewhere in EuropeAmerica, or even in Japan. She also participates in workshops around Berlin and Paris and even created a video tutorial for aspiring artists. Furthermore, instead of taking a rest from all of that, she also indulges in web design and regularly organizes life drawing sessions with her peers.

Véronique’s art is an incredible conglomeration of just about everything, from photography to architecture to fashion design she sees everything as a source of inspiration.
